Transcript the royal family

To me, the Royal Family symbolises tradition and culture of Britain and across the United Kingdom. Although I do enjoy having a monarchy in my country, and I enjoy the members of the Royal Family, I do not believe that it is essential for our society, in this  day and age, to have the royal family. It does not affect politics that much, and so it is not too influential. However, I don't believe that it is absolutely necessary to have a royal family. Of course, it brings in lots of tourism and creates an amazing image symbolising the values of our country. But people like my parents do believe that the monarchy is essential to British culture and tradition and the stability ongoing of our country. I liked the Queen very much and it was very sad when she died. Many of my friends and families that I know were very upset by this.
