Broadsheets = serious papers / quality press/ larger in size to be read at home by an educated reader who is used to complicated words and longer articles

Tabloids = rubbish press/ rags ( torchons)/for a popular audience / smaller in size to be read while commuting( commute = go back and forth from work)/ on trains / containing plenty of photos and shorter articles
