1. SOLUTION 1 :Raise the minimum wage
WHY ?
- women are essentially in low- paying jobs
CONSEQUENCE :
- lift women out of poverty
- help all low-wage workers .
2. SOLUTION 2 :Increase pay transparency
WHY ?
- know what other employees are earning
- be able to compare and defend your interests
CONSEQUENCE
- narrow = reduce the gender pay gap by 30 percent
- favour open conversation and dialogue within the company
- help the government give a penalty to the companies for wage discrimination
3.SOLUTION 3 : Unionize workplaces
