 GRAMMAR REMARKS 

1. ne pas oublier le S de la 3 eme personne du singulier: quand le verbe est seul et qu il est précédé de he she it , on met un S à la fin du verbe  

2. preposition + ing ou nom 

ex: by talking/ withiut waiting 

3. i have chosen  the film = present perfect   car action passée ( choisir) qui a une conséquence sur le PRESENT  ( have) 

4. one of + pluriel 

5. there is only one season but the next season ....................( come) soon QUEL TEMPS ET POURQUOI ?  

ANSWER PRESENT EN ING = IS COMING 

 TENSE = LA FACON DE PRESENTER L’ACTION

EXPLICATION

cet aspect n’existe pas en français =

a) où est papa ? il lit son journal

b)où est papa? laisse le tranquille car il lit son journal

Le message dans les 2 phrases n’est pas le même.

En A , c’est une information brute sans commentaire.

En B, c’est une justification. L e narrateur exprime son opinion en réagissant sur ce qui a été dit avant et en insistant sur le sujet HE .

Et pourtant en Français nous emploierons le même temps. MAIS en anglais nous emploierons 2 formes différentes.

a)Where is Daddy? He reads his newspaper.

b)Where is daddy? leave him alone.He is reading his newspaper.

forme simple = …FAIT BRUT / INFORMATION NOUVELLE/ ON INSISTE SUR LE VERBE ET DONC L ACTION ……………………………...............

forme en ing =  JUSTIFICATION/ OPINION/ COMMENTAIRE/ SUJET ( JOCS) DONC RETOUR EN ARRIERE SUR UNE INFORMATION DONNEE PRECEDEMMENT OU UN ELEMENT PRECEDENT ………………………………................

A vous de choisir la forme qui convient le mieux pour exprimer votre pensée.
