Certains verbes peuvent etre suivis de L’INFINITIF (TO +BV) ou de ING (gerondif) .Alors comment choisir?

 

II)ANALYSE

 

Regardez les phrases suivantes et concluez:

                    a) i would like to go to the hairdresser tomorrow.

                    b)I like going to the hairdresser.

 

1)Quand doit se passer l’action souhaitée en a? DANS LE FUTUR 

Donc To+BV exprime..UNE ACTION A VENIR / UNE ACTION FUTUR

 

2)Une  personne ne peut dire qu’elle aime aller chez le coiffeur que si ..ELLE Y EST DEJA ALLEE........

Donc ING exprime...UN RETOUR EN ARRIERE ............................

A) TO+BV :

1)Quelle est l’idée exprimée par TO dans la phrase suivante? Traduisez

 

                                       He came to see you

 

Donc TO+BV/ IN ORDER TO+BV/ SO AS TO+ BV  expriment:. LE BUT ( qui se situe dans le futur donc logique) ......................

 

Donnez un nouvel exemple: he is working hard  TO  please his parents ( il travaille dur POUR plaire à ses parents ) 

 

B)ING:

 

1)Quelle est la nature grammaticale de la forme en ING? UN NOM 

 

                              Reading is difficult. = LA LECTURE EST DIFFICILE 

Et pourtant READING est à formé à partir d’un . VERBE ................

Donc la forme en ING sert à transformer le .....VERBE ................. en....NOM ..................

 

Donnez un nouvel exemple: jogging  is my favourite sport .

 

2)Quelle est la nature grammaticale du mot précédant la forme en ING dans la phrase suivante?:

                              He is blamed FOR  being a bad influence on youngsters.

C EST UNE PREPOSITION :

of / about / in / with / from / before / after / for /  at /by/against /between/through/during/above/below 

 

Donc une .PREPOSITION ....................... est toujours suivie de la forme en ING.
