EXERCISE: the causes and solutions
1.new rules about the dumping of toxic waste by industry should be introduced.
2.Many farmers are contributing to environmental damage by using pesticides.
3.Everybody should use public transports instead of cars.
4.we should not delay measures aiming at reducing greenhouse gas.
5.your car should run on unleaded petrol.
6.recent deforestation means tropical rainforests no longer absorb as much carbon dioxide as they use to.
7.exhaust fumes from cars and other vehicles cause a lot of pollution.
8.the houses of the future should use renewable energies like wind or water power and solar energy.

2.Présent irréel:

if + past simple ----> sujet + would+ BV = présent irréel

3.Passé irréel:
if we had listened to the environmenalists.
Si nous avions écouté les écologistes.
