Irréel présent:

Formation:

sujet + wish+ to+ BV

Emploi:

Souhait qui doit se dérouler dans l'avenir

-were
I -wish I -was famous
-would rather I were famous

Formation:

Sujet + wish + sujet + verbe au prétérit (simple past)
(attention were à toutes les personnes)

Emploi:

q.q.c qui est iréel dans le présent .

Autres expressions:

1- if only : if only I had a smaller nose.

2- it is (high) time : it is high time you changed teacher

APPLICATION :
a) a song : lady Gaga = I wish you were here

She wishes she could find her dad
She would rather she had a family
if only she could be at home.
