 I recollect the BP oil crisis.
 As far as I can remember, there were fires in Russia.
 If I remember correctly, there was the Tour de France/Contado's victory.
 I have a vague/ dim recollection of the flooding in Pakistan.

STEP 4 : Global warming .
A definition : the climate on our planet is changing for the worse ( pour le pire).Pollution is the cause of the problem.We are burning fossil fuel and thus putting a lot of gaz and carbon dioxyde in the atmosphere.
This pollution traps the solar energy in the atmosphere.Therefore the temepratures are rising and it is getting hotter by the minute. So a natural phenomenon is turning into/ is becoming a danger for our planet/is jeopardizing our planet.
