STEP 4 WHAT IS A PROFILER ? 

 

 

1.      GIVE A DEFINITION OF A PROFILER 

A profilers is a sleuth  who analyse the profile of a criminal to help the police discover the suspect

 

2. WHEN DID IT START  Profiling was developed by the FBI in the 1970s to identify different types of people. 

 

3. HOW DO YOU KNOW A PROFILER IS DOING A GOOD JOb 

Larbi: I know the profiler is  doing a good job when they find the clues to arrest the killer .

Avarnika  : The profiler is doing a good job because in the text it is said  that he can find the clue to know who did do the crime.

Nina: the profiler is doing a good job if he finds who  the murderer is 

4. PROFILE NUMBER 1 TYPE AND STATE OF  CRIME SCENE

Azelya :  type 1 is the organized offender. When he acts, the crime scene is spick and span. He has a clear mind

Justine : the crime scene is spotless   

bilal: some Changes to the crime scene may occur hours later to cover tracks.

 

5.     PROFILE NUMBER 2 TYPE AND STATE OF THE  CRIME SCENE

 Kristian: the profiler is systematically stressed during the killing .

 Amina: the profiler is of limited intelligence. 

Sarah: the profiler is socially inadequate. 

6.    PROFILE NUMBER 3 TYPE AND STATE OF THE CRIME SCENE 

 the 3rd profile is the mixed offender . 

 He plans the act so he is kind of organized  .

 Camelia .However he loses control during the crime and the scene is found in chaos 

Said. He has low control of himself and he may be compulsive . 

He seems normal to people but murderous impulse could drive him to kill somebody 


7.  WHAT ARE THE POSITIVE SIDE OF BECOMING A PROFILER ?  


HOMEWORK : test : invent a murder story  ( 10 lines)
