A DEBATE : is that important to be popular?

No it is not essential to be popular because
everybody knows your life/ you have no private life
you are never quiet= you are always bothered by fans
It is quite difficult to keep your personality= to remain true to yourself
as for me, your mind spirit is what really counts
being popular means that you will be stressed
your must be faithful to your personality
famous persons have no personality = you are flat
people will appreciate you / love you
only because/since/as you are popular

Yes it is great to be popular since
No one will ever snigger at you
being popular will make your problems easier
you are very much respected
every student likes you
You will have far more girls in your life
you feel alone / like a loner= isolated= feel like an outcast
