why do people shop? they shop to feel better
why was she a shopaholic? because at one point in her life she was depressed and needed to improve her self-esteem/ confidence. It helped her control her moods.
How can we stop? : a good way would be to write down all your expenditures to keep a record of / keep track on your spending.
