PUT THE EVENTS BACK IN ORDER
First eva Smith was sacked by Mr Birling because she was the ring leader of a stike at his factory.
Then she was thrilled as she had managed to find a new job at a department store.But then she was given the sack once more because Sheila Birling complained about her to the manager.
Without any other means of survival, Eva had to resort to prostitution to survive.She thus changed her name into Daisy Renton.Then she met Gerald Croft who decided to settle her into an appartment.She soon became his mistress but he put an end to their relationship when he stopped suiting her.
After having spent all the savings she had made while with Gerald, she had to go back on the streets.
One night she met with Eric Birling who abused her several time.One day she told him sh was pregnant.To support her Eric decided to steeal some money from the office.On finding out that the money was stolen, Daisy refused to accept it anymore.
She had to appeal then to Mrs Birling's charity.But the latter did not believe her story and refused to give her her support.
Abandonned by all and with no solution in sight ( in sight= en vue), Eva decided to put an end to her life and that of hr unborn child.
