Your mission The bid to host the Olympic games in Paris has been a positive one and Paris has won .But still people are divided on the issue and arguments are firing off.You have to write an essay  on the issue.So prepare your views

The pros :

 It brings honor and world wide exposure to the host country

The sports on display are dynamic.

It boosts the morale of a country

The cost is not relevant = it is not a question of money .it is a question of pride ( fierté)

People create thrilling=exciting  memories

It can bring a revival to the country = it can boost the morale of the country 

 i beg to differ because the olympics are a constructive experience 

i fully disagree with you since thanks to the olympics we can discover the world  in our own country / backyard

The cons

It is a waste of time and money

It lasts only two weeks so it is not worth it

 The environmental impact is dreadful = horrible 

the olympic games are useless

in my opinion they are a waste of time
