NOTION PARADOX
Although he was his own daughter , he killed her
Helena screamed.And yet this scream did not seem to come from a humanbeing
His daughter was crushed under his car.Still he did not even get out
He was helena's husband.However she wished he was dead now
Although he had killed his won daughter, he thought first of the neighbour's reaction.
Even though the accident should be a painfuk experience, he described it in gruesome details.
In spite of their marriage, helena wished him dead now.

WHAT ARE THE EVENTS THAT LED TO THE ACCIDENT?
He didn' t pay attention to his own daughter Thus he killed her.
He was blinded by his jealousy.As a consequence he ran her over.
he left the door ajar hence the accident
He thought his wife was looking over the child.That's why he did not pay attention.
His wife had parked the car clumsily/ awkwardly.Consequently he had to manouever the car.

SO WHO IS TO BLAME ?
i believe the mother has got to share the blame because she didn't look after the girl herself and she was so obsessed with her daughter that the husband felt jealous and thus he had no feelings for his daughter.
Moroever we find out at the end of the book that Natalie was not even his daughter.His wife had had an affair with the neighbour .Thus his lack of feelings for a baby who had nothing in common with him.

Homework :
Describe the father, the mother and the daughter's personality.
Oral test at the beginning of the session tomorrow.
