A shooting (une fusillade )
A thug= a yob= a brute
a bullet ( une balle)
be raped (être violé)
a machine gun= a rifle( un fusil)
they shot him( ils l'ont abattu)


Correction questions
First staza:

1) who is talking?
Victims of bullying are addressing us
talking to the public/ audience/ crowd

2) Why was she/ he bullied?
Because he/she didn't know how to be cool.

3) What was the consequence of bullying?
Consequently she was ridiculed/ alone/ abandoned

4) How did they bully her?
They mocked/ sniggered at/ picked on her/him

Second stanza:

1. How did the victim feel?
She felt sad/ alone and scared= frightened/ afraid/ fearful/ worried/ scared out of her wit
2. Right or wrong: the victim had friend
No he had no friend. He could not befriend anyone = he belonged to no clique

If you were bullied, what would you do?

If I were bullied, I would ignore (= ignorer) the bullies
Si j'étais brutalisé, j'ignorerais les brutes
I would fight them.
I would look for an intelligent solution to stop them
I would tell my father
