WHAT IS A GAP YEAR?
A gap year is a year off.It is a break from your studies that you can take.

WHY DO PEOPLE TAKE A GAP YEAR?
To release the pressure you have on your shoulder
To enjoy some quality time with my girl
To sleep through the year
To do something different from school and work
To broaden (élargir) your horizon
To relax/to take a break/take it easy/cool off
To gain experience before starting a descent/proper job
To try at having my driving licence
To discover new countries/new landscapes( paysages)/new surroundings (environements) / new cultures
To do some charity work

PURPOSE :
