It deals with(it is about, it focuses on) a multi-millionaire, a self-made-man, Chris Gardner; he used to be poor(destitute, broke), to be homeless and to sleep in public toilets or on the subway (to sleep on the pavement = sleep rough)
His life was made into a film starring will Smith. Chris did a training program to become a stock-broker to give a better future (better prospects) to his infant son
