Definition global warming :
because of the pollution and the green house effect, the temperatures are rising, the weather is changing which provokes hundreds of devastating effects on our world.

QUESTIONS ON CLIMATE CHANGE

how serious? :
climate change is a serious threat .In my view it is a major problem for our environment as global warming might lead to the destruction of our planet/ of our civilisation as we know it.

consequence :
As a consequence the icecap will melt
As a result all natural ressources will disappear
It will bring about the destruction of the forests which will either burn down or be devastated by strange bugs.
It will lead to the rise of the level of water
It will give rise to the shrinking of the dry lands (shrink = rétrecir)
It will entail more poverty in Africa
It will sparkle the alteration of the weather

most affected :
the animals will be the first to be concerned leading to the disappearnce of thousands of species.
old and young people , weak people, fragile people will be in the front line
poor people will be the first casualties (victimes)
As every destitute person will be stuck where they are and unable to escape and flee to a safer place.

school contributing:
We are participating to the destruction of our environment as we are wasting enery and electricity even in broad daylight.We should be using alternative source of energy produced by solar panel and other green means.Moreover the waste of paper and the lack of recycling facilities should be addressed/tackled.


To stop climate change:

use more alternative energy
use less water
recycle our waste
plant trees
make ads to increase public awareness
use more natural products and recyclable ones




decrease green house emissions
avoid taking our car
decrease our consumption of energy
aim at polluting less
focus on our weaknesses
limit the exhaust fumes(exhaust fumes = an exhaust pipe= pot d'échappement/ exhaust fumes = what comes out from the exhaust pipes)
