a)What are the qualities needed to be a good candidate

examples :
 The requisite qualities to be a good candidate are determination and charisma
 You have the right stuff (right stuff= la bonne matière)to become a good candidate when you are brave and good-looking
 You have a gift (a gift = un don) for politics when you are a chatterbox
 You must be endowed with (be endowed with = être doté de) intelligence


2)What do you think of Obama and mac cain ?
Examples :
Obama has the right qualities to be a candidate because he comes on well on TV
MacCain has a drawback as he is too old to be a good and eficient president

Write your speech to be elected
examples :
In my opinion, I would be an excellent candidate because I am articulate
In my view, you should choose me as your candidate since I am impressive
To my mind, I am the best suited for the job as I am trustworthy
As far as i’m concerned , I can’t think of another person than me for that job because I am hardworking
I believe I am the obvious choice as I am folksy
